Fallaciella (Lembophyllaceae)

In Tasmania, Fallaciella is represented by a single species, F. gracilis (previously Camptochaete gracilis).

F. gracilis is a relatively uncommon moss of wet forest that forms dense flat mats on rock. The leaves are concave and oval.

Some bryologists suggest that F. gracilis is a neotenous form of Camptochaete.
