Hampeella (Ptychomniaceae)

In Tasmania, Hampeella is represented by a single species, Hampeella alaris.

Hampeella alaris is largely a rainforest epiphyte, often found growing on twigs.

It might easily be confused with Glyphothecium sciuroides but the leaves of Hampeella are more concave and the leaf tips are recurved into a small hook.
