A
few species of fumitory (Fumaria) and Pseudofumaria have become naturalised in
Tasmania. They can be very common weed species in cultivated areas,
gardens and waste areas. They are annual herbs with compoundly divided
leaves and distinctive, small flowers in racemes. The flowers have
four free petals, but these almost cohere above the base to form an
asymmetrical tube.
