Valerianella eriocarpa (Valerianaceae) 3:541

Valerianella
eriocarpa (Italian Corn-salad) is a common weed of grassy places
(including occasionally mown lawns). It is difficult to distinguish
from the other two species (both introduced) of Valerianella,
except in the form of the fruit. The growth
habit of all three species is distinctive - the plants mostly branch dichotomously (i.e.
into two equal branches).
