The Tasmanian Onagraceae includes the introduced shrubby genus, Fuschia, and several slender native herbs in the genera Epilobium and Boisduvalia, as well as some more robust naturalised herbs. Fuchsia is a garden escape with very obvious flowers. The herbaceous species live in a range of habitats.
