Hakea nodosa
(Yellow Hakea) is an uncommon shrub that grows in the north and north-east of
the state. Like H. decurrens, it
has very woody, almost spherical fruit and straight, hard leaves.
However, the stems are not angled (as in H. decurrens) and
the fruit is almost black. The flowers are usually yellow, although
sometimes they can be almost white.
