Plantago australis (Plantaginaceae) not in the Student's Flora

    

Plantago australis is an introduced rosette herb without a taproot. The leaves are more or less entire, rough textured (scabrous), held above the ground and are  typically 10-30 cm long. The have long petioles and 3 obvious longitudinal veins.
