Plantago triantha (Plantaginaceae) 3:563

Plantago triantha is a widespread and common native species in the spray zone of exposed coasts. It has a long, stout taproot. The leaves are held flat to the ground in a rosette, are thick, dark glossy green and 1-8 cm long, with a few blunt teeth. The habitat and fleshy leaves makes this species unmistakable.
