Zoysia (Poaceae) 4b:332
Zoysia macrantha is an uncommon native grass. It is a small rhizomatous species that colonises dunes on the coasts of the north, north-east and Bass Strait islands. The leaves are more or less in two rows. The inflorescence is a short spike-like raceme. The spikelets have a single flower and only one glume, which has a short awn.
