Psychrophila (formerly known as Caltha; Ranunculaceae) 1:20
Tasmania has one species of Psychrophila (P. phylloptera). This is a small native, alpine rosette herb that grows mainly on the Central Plateau. The leaves are unique - they have two wing-like appendages arising from near the base of the lamina.
