Clematis (Ranunculaceae) 1:9
Tasmania has five native species of Clematis and one introduced species (C. vitalba). Most species are woody climbers with compound leaves, but C. gentianoides is an undershrub with erect branches arising from woody rhizomes. It usually has simple leaves.
