Ranunculus jugosus ( Ranunculaceae) not in the Student's Flora

Ranunculus jugosus is a rare native alpine species that grows in very wet places (river banks and soaks) on the Central Plateau. The leaves are in a rosette with a stout rootstock with fibrous roots. The leaves are divided into three narrow leaflets, each with three lobes. The flowers have 6 petals and are only about 5-6mm across and are held among the leaves.
