Pomaderris (Rhamnaceae) 1:114 |
|
|
|
Pomaderris
species can be distinguished from the similar genus,
Spyridium,
by the petals, which are either absent (leaving only the petal-like
sepals), or are shorter than the staminal filaments. The 10 species
are all native shrubs or small trees. Pomaderris apetala is
often one of the dominant trees in wet sclerophyll forest.
