Acaena pallida (Rosaceae) not in the Students Flora

Acaena pallida (Pale Biddy-bid) is a less common species than its close relative A. novae-zelandiae. It is very similar in most aspects to A. novae-zelandiae (including the seeds that stick to your socks), but  is noticeably larger in most of its parts. The leaves are glossy green and thick. It grows in coastal areas (in dune swales etc).
