Galium palustre (Rubiaceae) not in the Student's Flora

Galium palustre (Swamp Bedstraw) is an uncommon weed of swampy places, ditches etc. The leaves are in whorls of 4 (rarely to 6). The flowers are white. The stems are straggling and almost hairless and do not cling to clothing in the way of G. aparine.
