Blechnum (Blechnaceae) |
|
|
Tasmania has
nine native species of Blechnum (water ferns). These are
mostly terrestrial or grow on rocks. All but one species have
pinnate leaves, with undivided pinnae. In all but one species the
sporangia are borne on fronds that are similar in size and to the
fertile fronds but have much narrower pinnae. |
