Calochlaena dubia  (= Culcita dubia; Culcitaceae)

Calochlaena dubia (rainbow fern) is the only member of this genus and of the family Culcitaceae in Tasmania. It is a moderately common native fern (at least in the north and northeast). It is a moderately large ground fern with compound leaves. It grows in the understorey of open forest. The leaves are moderately hairy underneath.
