Blechnum penna-marina (Blechnaceae)

Blechnum pennamarina (alpine water fern) is a native ground fern that is common in damp places in the alpine and sub-alpine zone, ranging from montane rainforest to open peaty places. It is the smallest of the Blechnum species, with fronds often only about 10cm long.
