Botrychium australe (Ophioglossaceae) |
|
Botrychium
australe (parsley fern) is either extinct in Tasmania or
extremely rare. It was only ever found in the Central Highlands, and
probably grew in subalpine grasslands. Each plant produces one frond
that divides into irregularly lobed vegetative lamina, and a
similarly lobed fertile frond. |
