Botrychium lunaria (Ophioglossaceae) |
|
Botrychium
lunaria (moonwort) is an uncommon and very distinctive native
fern. It mainly grows in subalpine grasslands in the Central
Highlands. Each plant produces one frond (often about 5cm long) that
divides into a pinnately lobed vegetative lamina, and a similarly
lobed fertile frond. |
