Cheilanthes sieberi (Adiantaceae)

Cheilanthes sieberi (narrow rock fern) is an uncommon native fern that grows widely in dry rocky places in the eastern half of Tasmania. It is a low growing plant with many times lobed leaves 10cm long or more. It is unusual in that it is a resurrection plant - the foliage can dry out, then recover entirely within an hour or so after rain. It has narrower leaves than the more common C. austrotenuifolia.
