Gleichenia dicarpa (Gleicheniaceae) |
|
Gleichenia
dicarpa (pouched coral fern) is a common native groundfern that
grows in wet heaths, including button grass plains. It has the typical
Gleichenia foliage, which is repeatedly dichotomously divided
before ending in pinnate laminas. The distinctive feature is that
the sori are in deep pouches, but lack
dense covering of hairs on the underside found in
G. alpina. |
