Grammitis garrettii (=Grammitis species A; Grammitidaceae)

Grammitis garrettii is a rare native alpine fern that grows only on sandstone rocks on a few mountains (The Boomerang and the Mt La Perouse area) in the far south-west. It has the typical thick unlobed leaves of Grammitis species, but these are 2-5 cm long. The habitat is usually sufficient to distinguish this species from other Grammitis.
