Hypolepis
muelleri (harsh ground fern)is an uncommon ground fern
that is found in open forest (often withPolystichum proliferum or
Pteridium esculentum)in the north east and less often the
north west. It can be confused with
Hypolepis rugosula but is darker in colour and harsher in
texture.
