Isoetes muelleri (Isoetaceae)

Isoetes muelleri is a moderately common native aquatic plant. It grows in lakes and slow flowing waters. Like other quillwort species, the leaves are cylindrical and in clumps, but are quite flexible. The sporangia are covered in a membranous layer (a velum).
