Lycopodium scariosum (Lycopodiaceae)

Lycopodium scariosum (spreading clubmoss) is common native clubmoss that is widespread in alpine and subalpine areas. The habit is very distinctive - it is prostate with flattened stems, with two rows of spreading leaves above, and 2-3 rows of smaller leaves underneath the stems.
