Gladiolus (Iridaceae) 4b:416
Tasmania has four introduced species of Gladiolus.  Like many irises they are tufted plants. The flowers are conspicuous and yellow, cream, greenish or red. The leaves of three species are flattened, one (G. tristis) has leaves that are square with grooves on the faces in cross-section.
