Tasmania has
four introduced species of Gladiolus. Like many irises
they are tufted plants. The flowers are conspicuous and yellow,
cream, greenish or red. The leaves of three species are flattened, one (G.
tristis) has leaves that are square with grooves on the faces in
cross-section. |
