Hesperantha (= Schizostylis; Iridaceae) 4b:417  
Tasmania has one introduced species of Hesperantha (H. coccinea).  Like many irises they are tufted plants, with the stems flattened and the leaves in two rows. The flowers are bright crimson and about 5cm long, with widely lobes.
