Asphodelus (Asphodelaceae [formerly part of Liliaceae]) 4b:380  
Asphodelus fistulosus (onion weed) is a reasonably common weed of waster places and roadsides. It is a tufted plant with narrow, erect, hollow leaves (like onion leaves). The flowers are white or pale pink, with six more-or-less equal sepals and petals. The leaves are hollow and cylindrical, and about 3-4mm in diameter.
