Tasmania has
three native species of Caesia. These are moderately common
native species that grow in wet heaths and grasslands ranging from
sea level to the subalpine. The plants have several long, narrow
leaves mostly growing at the base of the erect stem. The flowers are
greenish-white to blue and in a terminal panicle. The plants have
multiple fleshy tubers. |
