Distinguishing Features: Dense alpine shrub, mainly of unburnt vegetation. Leaves small (4 - 8 mm) blunt, with a few veins showing on the light green undersurface. Several flowers in a group. Leaves generally blunter than those of A. comberi which has solitary flowers.
