This research is a case study to understand the re-composition of the institutional field in post disaster regions and how the institutional field structures and logics to achieve Social objectives. Specifically, the investigation will focus on the rehabilitation and development of post-typhoon Haiyan affected regions using the "Building Back Better" principle to recompose the education for work field and provide youth better opportunity to participate in productive economic activities (e.g.,work). This study is conducted five years after the disaster and will focus on the new structure and logic established in the institutional field of education for work after the implementation of huge post disaster development assistance. Using institutional (sectoral) field theory, this research seeks to understand the changes in logics and structure in the organization of education for work product on and examine the relationship between recomposed field correlation with youth participation in work.
