Challen picAustralian of the Year Craig Challen SC OAM shares his fascinating story from the depths of the 2018 Thai cave rescue mission.

Craig will then participate in a panel discussion about extreme environments and emergency medicine.

Craig Challen began diving in the 1990s and has explored caves and shipwrecks around Australia, Asia and the Pacific.

He was named joint Australian of the Year in 2019, with dive partner Dr Richard Harris, for his part in the Tham Luang cave rescue in Thailand.
