Tourism in Tasmania is a Tourism Research and Education Network (TRENd) initiative, supported by the College of Arts, Law and Education and the Institute for the Study of Social Change.
The book consists of 21 chapters, and five sections with contributions from more than 25 researchers at the University of Tasmania. Issues that are tackled include: balanced tourism development, a tourism vision, cruise ship tourism, Airbnb, heritage, nature, wine, Chinese visitors, road kills, job polarisation, and using tourist attractions as a resource for the local community. Please join us to celebrate this new initiative.
Please join us, along with the Lord Mayor Anna Reynolds and Vice Chancellor Professor Rufus Black.
