'Isn't It Peculiar'

With Vocals by the 2019 prize winner Naarah Barnes, Isn’t It Peculiar is a collection of songs mostly sourced from female characters in musical theatre, with stories representing immense change through unique and peculiar situations. A night of beautiful and unique stories, director Jack Lark and vocal director Maria Lurighi have worked with Naarah to create an honest performance where truth and realism are emphasized. Joining Naarah on stage will be pianist extraordinaire Andrew Morrisby, in a program of storytelling through music, including works by Stephen Sondheim, Scott Alan and Jason Robert Brown.
