Summary:

Rone will discuss his journey - how he has built a sustainable art practice and the ways in which his work has developed over the years, touching on techniques and methods he uses from lo-fi to new technologies.

This spring renowned street artist Rone joins Junction for a series of virtual reality experiences and artist talks, celebrating his recent Empire exhibition. Finding the friction between beauty and decay is a thread that runs through much of Rone's work. Rone has gone from spearheading Melbourne's fledgling street art movement in the early 2000's to being a celebrated fixture on the international street art scene. His recent immersive installations celebrate the decaying glory of a once-magnificent manor.
