Summary:

Showcasing the School of Technology Environments and Design research with short and snappy presentations.

This year has held many challenges for most of us, and there have been very few opportunities for students and staff to travel to conferences and interact with colleagues. Our Research Showcase is an opportunity for Disciplines to learn about each other’s work; for research students to practise presenting and meet new people; and for staff/adjuncts/associates to share their latest research and communicate what drives them; in short it is a great opportunity to connect and learn something new. The focus of the Research Slam Showcase is short and snappy presentations/performances to a diverse audience in an entertaining way.

The sessions and talks in the STED Research Showcase will be structured in a collection of multi-disciplinary themes:

  • Designing, making, planning futures
  • Sustainable cities, societies and cultures
  • Our health & wellbeing
  • Better measurements and decisions
  • Managing and using natural resources
  • Conserving biodiversity
  • Understanding climate and its effects
  • New Methods and Methodologies
  • Doing interdisciplinarity
  • Research with impact

We invite you to come along for the whole day or just the sessions that interest you.

Everyone is required to register prior to accessing the streams.
