Summary:

A summary of key aspects of ecosocialist thought, strategy and tactics.

Ecosocialist analyses of the interlinked ecological, socio-economic and political crisis we currently face identify capitalism as its root cause. Having explored ecosocialist thought and activism extensively while conducting research for her doctoral thesis and book, ‘Ecosocialism and climate justice: An ecological neo-Gramscian analysis’ (Routledge, in press), in this presentation Eve will summarise key aspects of ecosocialist thought, strategy and tactics.
