UHack is a fast-paced three-day innovation competition that encourages you and your team to think outside the box, creating business ideas and developing solutions for real world problems. Participants will form teams and select from a range of problem statements important to Tasmania to tackle over the weekend hackathon.
If you have an idea for a Startup business and willingness to undertake new ventures, then UHack is the competition for you! UHack is free to enter, with significant cash and other prizes, as well as providing mentoring from industry leaders, team-building opportunities, and the potential to turn your idea into a reality.
We encourage ideas that consider impact, innovation, and creativity across any form of enterprise. This includes enterprise that might be either commercial or not-for-profit, and which deliver positive environmental, social, cultural, or economic outcomes.
UHack is open to students, staff of the University, and members of the public, and will be run over the weekend of Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th of September 2021.
All participants are invited to join "in person" at their nearest location in Hobart, Launceston, or Burnie.
