Join a panel of experts to discuss global best practice in climate change education.

  • Julie Wilkens McMahon, Regional Director (APAC) for Times Higher Education (THE), will introduce the annual Global Impact Rankings and the higher education sector's role in addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Associate Professor Dr Mohd Wira Mohd Shafiei and Corey Peterson will be highlighting the experience of the University of Tasmania and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in building sustainability planning into a whole of university engagement.
  • Ailsa Lamont, Co-founder and President of Climate Action Network for International Educators (CANIE) will discuss institutional approaches to actioning the global climate change agenda through actively engaging staff and students in the process.

Moderated by Mr Michael Fay, Convenor of ASEAN-Australia Education Dialogue and Director, ASEAN Focus Group (AFG VG).
