We will be taking a stunningly scenic guided (by Rob Saltmarsh, NW Tassie local guide with a serious love for the Tarkine) drive along the takayna/Tarkine Drive's small loop, starting from Sumac Lookout and going counter-clockwise, finishing at Trowutta Arch. Each stop will include short walks between 10 and 45 minutes (return). You will see rare virgin rainforest and stunning button grass plains.

  • The Sinkhole
  • Trowutta Arch

  • Date: Saturday, 18th February
  • Meeting point:
  • Cradle Coast - 8.15am - West Park car park near student apartments
  • Launceston - 6am at Inveresk. 6:25am at Newnham.
  • End: Cradle Coast @ 6:00pm, Launceston @ 7:45pm
