Tasmania Reads

An event supported by Libraries Tasmania and UTAS encouraging all Tasmanians to read a book for the pleasure of reading.

For the Tasmania Reads statewide event, the University of Tasmania is encouraging everyone to join the UTAS Book Club during June and July 2023. The selected book is Limberlost by Robbie Arnott, who is a well known University of Tasmania Alumni.

It's easy and fun to join:

• Register your details via our Eventbrite page for kick off June 18th 2023
• Visit Fullers Bookshop or Petrarch’s Bookshop to purchase your physical copy of Limberlost. Alternatively, order online from one of the two shops or download audio or digital copies. You can also borrow a copy from the University of Tasmania Library.
• Join our Book Club Sessions during the weeks of the 9th and 16th July to discuss the novel
• Join us either face to face or via zoom for a lunch time In Conversation with the Author Event in Hobart Wednesday 26th July 12pm-1pm. This event can be attended in person at the venue, The Hedberg Recital Hall, 19-27 Campbell Street, Hobart OR online in Launceston from the new Inveresk Campus Library - room 216.
