Tasha Zappala is a singer-songwriter based in lutruwita/Tasmania. When she’s not serenading audiences, she’s often in the southern woods making billypots of beans, sipping tea, and capturing field recordings. She is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Tasmania, researching the use of field recordings in contemporary songwriting and creative responses to environmental sound.
