Areas of Responsibility

  • Review of all grant contracts (and variations) to ensure all financial obligations are recorded and met when due;
  • Open projects within the finance system;
  • Raise project budget and infrastructure charges when applicable;
  • Raise invoices to funding bodies in accordance with the contract;
  • Preparation of special purpose financial reports for funding bodies;
  • Provision of support and advice to researchers, research officers and other staff regarding the financial aspect of grants;
  • Prepare for and liaise with external auditors;
  • Close projects within the finance system once the contract has been completed.
