Ambassador of Brazil discusses possible collaboration in dementia and agricultural science

His Excellency Dr Sergio Moreira Lima was hosted by President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rufus Black at the end of May 2019. His Excellency was interested to explore opportunities for collaboration with the University.

His Excellency Dr Sergio Moreira Lima was hosted by President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rufus Black at the end of May 2019. His Excellency was interested to explore opportunities for collaboration with the University.  Areas of interest included discussions on the University’s research in dementia care and education, as well as agriculture and how the university collaborates with academic and government partners.

His Excellency was accompanied by The Hon. Peter Slipper, Honorary Consul for Brazil in Tasmania and Dr Paulo De Souza, Deputy Honorary Consul.
