From 2014, students in courses 63A, 63C, 63D, 63E, 63F, 63G, 63H, and all L3-coded degrees, who have not passed LAW307 and LAW450 must substitute both LAW353 and LAW454.

Provides students with an integrated understanding of the role of equity in the law, through exposure to various equitable doctrines and remedies.
The first part of the unit deals with various equitable doctrines, including equitable interests, fiduciaries (including government and the public trust), confidential information, part performance and other equitable actions relating to contracts.
The second part of the unit deals with equitable remedies (injunction, specific performance, equitable compensation, equitable damages, account of profits, declarations, etc).
