Special note: available only through participation in an Indonesian in-country program to be undertaken in conjunction with Universitas Negeri Padang, West Sumatra and the surrounding community of host families.

Unit description:

This unit is undertaken in conjunction with an Indonesian in-country program and aims to provide opportunities for teachers to develop personally and professionally by comparing and contrasting the Australian school context with aspects of the Indonesian school system, exploring language, culture and related issues to build on classroom practice upon return to Australia. Students will participate in lectures, seminars, workshops, school experiences and homestays.
