Unit description:

Further examines the various online learning environments, tools, and resources. The World Wide Web provides new opportunities for distance education over the Internet. The Web, when combined with other network tools, can be used to create a virtual classroom to bring together a community of learners for interactive education. This unit allows the student to explore and experiment in integrating unique features of the Web into their learning environment. The relevance of a personalised learning environment, collaborative learning, multimedia presentation of content, reinforcing content, experiential learning and new approaches to assessment are examined and evaluated.
