Unit description:

Examines a number of issues in the contemporary philosophy of mind and action: the identity of actions and events; the explanation of intentional behaviour; weakness of the will, self-deception and wish fulfilment; and a number of related topics in the philosophy of psychoanalysis and foundations of cognitive science.
