Unit description:

Looks at: (a) the nature of radiation in the atmosphere and radiative properties of earth surfaces; and (b) aerial photography and imagery systems including their interpretation and digital processing. The unit includes a project involving application of techniques to topics in the field of resource inventory, land use mapping or environmental monitoring.
